We stopped in this town for Breakfast and being from Minneapolis, The food was descent and our waitress was welcoming and kind. Only con was the food wasn’t seasoned and they don’t take Debit/Credit cards ONLY cash.

Worst cafe ever, wait staff was useless. They want 8.50 for a small grilled cheese, avoid at all costs. Gross food, prices way out of line. If I could give less than a 1, I would.

Another great burger and fries! Great atmosphere but only draw back us you need cash! No cards accepted but they do have a cash machine ) atm for that just another inconvenience!

Dale's fish is the best fried fish in Mn. I continued to order until I couldn't take another bite. Then there was Doughnut for Desert. Well...I had to take that to go.

This place is great. Been in Orr, Minnesota 3 days . It has a homestyle feel ,with some homestyle cooking.

Great pastries! They were nice people and super quick! We we’re the last ones in there after the breakfast rush and they gave us a free donut!! I will be going back!

This is such a lovely Cafe. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. She immediately came to our table ask what beverages we would like and got them to us immediately. We had the pork rice sausage links, complete breakfast with hash browns strawberry French toast which was out of this world. The food here is amazing. The carmel roll is one of thevbest I've ever had, BUT: make sure you eat it fresh at the cafe it's so good. The doughnuts are not so amazing, just saying. But, honestly everything else is so good!!! Don't pass this little gem by!

Good breakfast... just prepare yourself for a longer wait for food to be delivered. 3rd year we have stopped and it is consistent. Service though is very good. They keep the coffee coming until you food arrives. To be fair, the server (who I guess was the owner) was upfront with us regarding wait time on the kitchen preparing our food. Very friendly staff... that is 5 star.

EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE

The young ladies that served us were very nice, the food was good( hot pork sandwich and reuben) but was very long coming from kitchen. They do not accept credit cards, there is an atm, it was not working that day. Not a problem for us but we watched 2 groups have to run up the street to get money to pay.Credit card systems are pretty reasonable these days, it would be a good addition. It's amazing how many people don't carry cash or checks anymore.We will stop in again to try breakfast next time we are in the area.

I gave this place 3 tries and all three were strikes. The food was ok when I had lunch, just ok. Then I had the big donut on my next stop. Awful, awful, awful. It tasted like old burnt grease. Not fresh at all. Then I tried something baked, peanut butter twists. Yuck. Dry and hard to eat. I can't eat here again even though I would like to because there aren't a lot of choices.

Excellent place to go if you're looking for a home cooked meal in a rustic atmosphere. They only do cash, but it adds to the charm. Literally it's a family cooking for their neighbors. It's not an IHOP and we like it that way.

They have awesome donuts, but they don't accept credit/debit cards so make sure you bring cash.

The food was delicious and you get good portions for the price. However the wait staff is young and under trained and kept going over to the register to drink their soda while we kept asking for more ice water or our missing toast, ketchup, butter for pancakes. Never once came over to us asking if we wanted/nedded anything

I grew up eating here with my grandparents. The staff is so kind and the service is fairly quick. Very convivial and homey. They have amazing food and drinks. The french fries and soups are so good and so is everything else!

Love it. Descent variety of food from salads to steaks, rustic atmosphere. This place is home of the big donought and has the best around. 10 times better than Tim Hortons or Krispy creme.

It’s a classic. Large servings of pretty good food. The coffee could be stronger, but the donuts make up for it. Certainly worth a stop if you’re looking for a hearty breakfast.

T Pattenn Cafe is super conveniently located right on Hwy 53 in Orr. Easy to get to from the road and easy walk from the public dock on Pelican Lake. The atmosphere is natural and charming. The staff was very nice and helpful. You get the feeling that they're welcoming you in to their home and cooking personally for you. The food is hot, fresh and perfectly prepared. They only accept cash, but they have an ATM right there for your convenience. And don't forget to get a HUGE donut for your road trip!

Great food, friendly, great spot!

Burgers were good. Service was alright, French fries were terrible. Uncomfortable silence in the restaurant which made us feel like we had to whisper. Had to yell across the room to our waiter twice to get more water. Not impressed, but not mad.

Great place to stop on your way North or South for a morning cup of coffee and doughnut. The pastries are fresh made and the staff is friendly.

Always stop here for breakfast when I'm in Orr. Really good food, prices and always great daily specials.

Very nice folks... the special was home made Beef stew and homemade bread.... you could tell it truly was, it tasted great.
